Like so many people in the baking industry, I started out on my journey running my business from my home kitchen, juggling a young family and a full-time job whilst trying to grow my little empire. After three years of long hours, massive learning curves and obstacles overcome I was finally in a position to quit my job and open my dream cake shop. Over the last 8 years my business has gone from strength to strength and has provided a fantastically flexible lifestyle & income as my family & life has changed. 

I remember that feeling of overwhelm in the early days though, not knowing where to start and spending hours down research rabbit holes full of contradicting information. It was in those early days that the seeds of The Baking Business Start Up Academy were planted. As I gathered all my hard-fought knowledge I knew I wanted to share it some day and help other people like me. People looking to take control of their work lives & do something they are passionate about. People like you! Nowadays my biggest love is helping people just like you find the fun, passion and freedom that comes with being a baking business entrepreneur!
